Cookin is a platform that connects customers with verified home cooks for on-demand cooking at the customer's home. When you book, Cookin automatically assigns the nearest available cook. Cooks are independent partners, not employees of Cookin. These terms apply to the Cookin customer app, the Cookin Partner app, and this website.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to receive SMS on an Indian mobile number. Your account is created after verifying your phone number by one-time password. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. Provide accurate information. Cooking partners must additionally complete identity verification before accepting jobs.

The price for a booking is shown before you confirm it. Payments are processed by Razorpay or PayU; Cookin does not store your payment credentials. A booking is confirmed when a cook is assigned. The cook's start of work at your address is confirmed with a one-time code. Share it only with the assigned cook, in person.

You may cancel a booking from the app at any time before it is completed. Refund amounts depend on how far the booking has progressed. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for the exact percentages. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within the timelines of your bank or payment provider.

• Provide a safe, hygienic kitchen and the groceries or ingredients for your booking.
• Treat cooking partners with respect; abuse or harassment leads to account termination.
• Do not solicit cooks for off-platform work engaged through Cookin.

• Provide accurate identity, verification, and bank details.
• Accept only jobs you can complete, and complete accepted jobs professionally.
• Maintain hygiene and food-safety standards while cooking.
• You are an independent service provider responsible for your own taxes and compliance; these terms do not create employment, agency, or partnership.

Customers may rate and review completed bookings. Reviews must be honest and lawful. We may remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to the service, and we may use ratings to decide which partners remain on the platform.

Cookin provides the technology platform that connects customers and cooks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cookin's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Cookin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud, or create safety risks. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Thane, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over disputes.
